AccuLevel™ (ver. 2) Digital Measurement from 0.0° to 90.0°

Turn On:  Push "ON/OFF" AccuLevel™ (ver. 2) does NOT shut off automatically. Shut off when you are done. Battery should last a year or more in normal use. See back side for battery door. Replace with #2032 'coin' battery (see IMPORTANT NOTE below.) Recalibrate when you change the battery.

Zero:  AccuLevel™ maintains its zero when shut off. The ZERO button is ONLY used to compare one angle to another. Place AccuLevel™ on a surface and push ZERO. The display will go to 00.0 and ABS will disappear. Move to a different surface to compare the difference. Push ZERO to return to normal absolute readings.

FOR NORMAL USE ABS MUST BE ON DISPLAY

To hold reading:  Push "HOLD".  The display will show HOLD and flash. When HOLD stops flashing (approx. 6 seconds) the reading is held on the display. Push "HOLD" again to go back to active reading.

To calibrate:  Place AccuLevel™ on a reasonably level table top (does not need to be perfectly level). Push ON/OFF and hold for 6 seconds. Unit shuts off. Push ON/OFF again and -1- appears on the display. Push ZERO. -1- will begin to flash and in a few seconds -2- will appear. Turn the unit around 180° in the same spot and push ZERO again. -2- will begin to flash and in a few seconds normal readings will reappear. Calibration is now complete.

If you accidentally hold the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds -1- will appear and you will need to recalibrate before further use. See above.
This only takes a minute or less.

Do not drop the unit. Keep it clean and dry and avoid strong electrical or magnetic fields. Do not push 2 buttons at once.
